Can I really use it free with live data?

Yes. Every other major options tool — Unusual Whales, SpotGamma, Cheddar Flow — gates real-time data behind a paid plan. OptionScout gives you live data on every US-listed ticker on the free tier. We monetize the upgrade to Trader / Pro for unlimited usage and power features, not the data itself.

What happens if I cancel?

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then your account drops to the free tier automatically. Your watchlist, paper portfolio, and settings are preserved — you just lose access to the paid-tier features and limits.

Can I switch between monthly and annual later?

Yes. Use the Customer Portal (link in your account menu after upgrading) to switch between monthly and annual billing, change tiers, update your payment method, or cancel — all self-service.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 7-day no-questions-asked refund on Trader and a 14-day refund on Pro annual. Just email hello@optionscout.ai. Beyond that we don't offer prorated refunds, but you can cancel any time and keep access through the end of the billing period.

Where does the market data come from?

OptionScout uses the Massive.com (Polygon) Options Advanced data feed — the same real-time OPRA tape institutional desks pay for. Greeks, IV, OI, and trades are all live during US market hours.

What's the Founder's 500?

The first 500 Trader signups lock in today's rate — $29/month, or $19/month billed yearly — for as long as their subscription stays active. If we raise prices later, founders keep the rate they signed up at. There's no code to enter; you simply pay today's price and keep it. Once 500 spots are filled, the offer disappears.

What if I'm a student or active military?

We're rolling out a 50% discount on Trader annual for students and active military in the next phase. Email hello@optionscout.ai with your verification and we'll comp it manually until the automated flow is live.

Is my data private?

Yes. We don't sell or share your watchlist, paper trades, scanner history, or any personal data with third parties. The only data we share with our payment processor (Stripe) is what's required to process your subscription — name, email, and card details (which we never see directly).
